I tried looking for comic books with the store websites I researched. I researched https://thecomicbookshop.net/, https://monkeybizspokane.com/, https://merlyns.biz/
I have to say my favorite website to navigate through would have to be the “Comic book shop” the alignment is very well placed, and it is easy to find what you are looking for it immediately highlights their top products, and the design feels modern.
My least favorite would be “Monkey Biz” this website feels outdated and kind of lazy in the design elements. However, it is easy to navigate through and it sorts their products very well. But there is no search engine, so you have to go into their categories and search for the comic you want.
And lastly, “Merlyn” website is just mediocre with the design and there really isn’t much going on and their navigation is pointless because they do not post their products on the page. The color choices are horrendous and the “Join our mailing list” tag is not readable.
Ultimately, there were not a lot of options for comic bookstores near me and the other websites I researched seemed bare bones and they were all very similar. It was hard in all the websites to search for a specific comic book because they were limited in the comics that they had. The websites were all at least somewhat able to navigate through, but the design elements were not impressive, and the color choices were not that great and not easy on the eye. However, I was able to find at least comic book stores to check out.
