The option I chose for my major Project is Option A: Fictional Small Business. The focus of this small business will be on my hobbies of photography and videography. The reason why I am deciding to go this route is because I believe it will be great practice for when I create a website for my photography and videography. I also have interest in owning a small business and this would help me pursue that goal. For this project, I would like to have these pages: Home, about, contact, grad photos, greek life, self-portraits, street photography, videography, inspirations, and testimonies.
With this, I hope to create a webpage that is both modern and dynamic with its visuals that are able to showcase the identity of what my small business is all about. I want this project to serve as the foundation of what my website for my small business could potentially look like in the near future. I will be looking in on other photography and videography pages to get inspiration for what my page could potentially look like. I already have an instagram account dedicated to my photography and videography. I have the content for the page ready. I just need to stylize and structure it to my liking. I realize that the main character of the page has to be my content, so I have to find intricate ways to showcase my work. Overall, I’m excited to get started on this project to make something that will serve me in the long run.
