For my first fashion website I visited was Louis Vuitton. I had a theory that for a high-class fashion company they would surely have a website that resembles that same feeling. The page I went to be the Men’s sneakers page. The page does a great job at focusing on their products and it really makes them the main character of the page. However basic, it fits the aesthetic of the brand using a basic column of four rows to present their individual products.
The next Website I visited was Nike and their Nike Cortez shoe page. More simplistic than Louis Vuitton but effectively making their shoes the main thing your eyes will go to. Using 3 columns, it allows a sidebar to be present for other options like color, shape, height, etc. For the shoes you are looking for.
For my bad page, I picked a local clothing shop website in Pullman called 53 Boutiqe. I chose the main page because there is only one page. Now, white space is what we are looking for however there’s a lot of it on this page that ultimately just makes the page uninteresting. But, the most unappealing is the alignment of the page with it being centered and then switching to two columns. The first suggestion I would say is to keep the two columns consistent on the page to space out the page. Two I would change the alignment to make the page a little fuller and put the 12 column with the logo only at the top.
