For this activity, I looked on 3 different comic book websites searching for the Amazing Spider-man Vol 6 #42. The websites I tried were midtowncomics.com, mycomicshop.com, and grahamcrackers.com. Midtowncomics.com gave me exactly what I wanted and was easily able to find the comic book. I would say mycomicsshop.com was the worst at finding anything. There were no images, just text and it gave me everything except for what I was looking at. Grahamcrackers.com just flat out stated they did not have the comic book.
I can say that midtowncomics.com is the easiest and better laid out website than the three. It was easy to navigate, find things, and accessible. It’s also very organized and poppy. However, mycomicshop.com I found very difficult to navigate. The site has everything bunched up, the style looks boring, and I had to go through many portals to even find any newly released comic books. The text looks basic, and everything looks minimal. It’s also missing a home button; I have to hit the arrow on google to head back to the home page.
Overall, I was able to navigate and find many things the website had to offer with midtowncomics.com compared to the other two websites. The grahamcaracker.com website just did not have enough content, it had images like midtown comics and was organized. It is not made to look for a specific comic book but showcases what they have to offer. Midtown comics had a plethora of comic books and is seperated in numerous categories that are easy to find.
