The first Musician’s website I looked at was Kendrick Lamar’s website he launch for his album “Mr.Morale & the Big Steppers”.
Right off the bat, you can see that this website is very unique and not at all like any ordinary website. It focuses more on the points but the points are in the form of literal files that takes you to another section of the website. Based on how extraordinary this site is, I can see the framing that Kendrick Lamar’s team was going for which is a more secretive and unlocking missing pieces in the album. I think this method is effective because I feel it allows for the user to click on all the tabs on the website.
My second Musician’s website would be Pharrell Williams.
Doctor (Work It Out)
Based off the website, you can see the framing is around Pharrell’s newest collaboration album coming out as it is front and center on the webpage. The points are clearly highlighted by the square shaped around the items that are easily accessible.
My third Musician’s is MF DOOMs website.
MF DOOMs website is more catered towards memorabilia and apparel. The framing for this website is based off buying merchandise and honoring the memory of the artist. The points are located easily at the very top in a straight line.
